Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives participated in the International Plasma Protein Congress (IPPC), held in Berlin on 14-15 June and organized by the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA). In front of attendees including decision-makers, specialists and representatives from across the plasma industry. Dr. Ahmed Serag; Strategy and Projects Officer for Grifols Egypt, delivered  a presentation titled, "The Egyptian Model for Plasma Collection." He described the country’s groundbreaking public-private partnership between the Egyptian government and Grifols to build a fully integrated plasma-supply infrastructure to enable national and regional self-sufficiency in plasma-derived medicines. During the IPPC, Grifols Egypt received its certificate for being a source member of the PPTA, the association’s first member in the region.
