Grifols Academy

Grifols Egypt established a campus of The Grifols Academy at its flagship 6th of October donation center in Cairo. The first training center dedicated to plasma science in Africa and the Middle East, it is contributing to the development of local talent and industry-critical skills to turn Egypt into a regional plasma leader.

Grifols established the Academy in USA in 2009 to provide employees with advanced, ongoing training and development. The program offers three specialized academies: Plasmapheresis, Professional Development,and Transfusion Medicine.

Who we are

Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives is a joint-venture company between Egypt’s National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) and Grifols.

What is plasma

Gold-colored plasma is the liquid part of blood and represents about 55% of total blood volume. It contains essential proteins responsible for important life functions, such as immunity and blood coagulation.
